Claybord
Claybord is a wooden panel primed for mixed media. The surface is incredibly smooth and absorbent, which is why I use it to create ink pen drawings with gold leaf accents.
Micron Pens
These are a staple and what got me into ink pen drawing! These pens come in a wide variety of sizes, some extremely fine, and all use archival ink, meaning the marks you make with them will stick around long after you’re gone.
Gold Leafing
Here’s what you’ll need to get started adding gold leaf to your artwork! You will also need a paintbrush for applying the gold leaf adhesive, and another for brushing the excess gold flakes away. Once I’ve found brushes I’m 100% satisfied with, I’ll share these on here as well.
