As an Indie Book Awards finalist, I was invited by Headline Books Inc. to exhibit my novel at the American Library Association Annual Conference (ALAAC18) at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, LA., June 21-26, 2018.

The American Library Association (ALA) is the oldest and largest library association in the world, whose mission is to provide leadership for the development, promotion and improvement of library and information services and the profession of librarianship in order to enhance learning and ensure access to information for all.

The ALA Annual Conference brings together more than 8,000 key library professions from around the country, including librarians, publishers, authors, agents, speakers, designers, illustrators, musicians, video game developers and more. The exhibit floor will host over 900 organizations, and among the 975+ speakers are former First Lady Michelle Obama and two-time Academy Award-winning actor Sally Field. Jam-packed with workshops, award ceremonies, programs, book signings, performances, fun events and beyond, ALAAC is an amazing opportunity for me to learn and network with professionals in this exciting industry as I progress in my career as an author.

Are you attending ALAAC18? Stop by and say hello! I will be signing books on Sunday, June 24th, from 1-4:30 p.m. in booth 3656. Or, follow along from home by searching your social media for #ALAAC18 and #AWhitewashedTomb.
