Tabitha Takes A Look In The Mirror
We’re halfway there!
This week, I hit a major milestone in the writing of A Whitewashed Tomb: I’m at the midpoint of my first draft! As described by James Scott Bell, author of Write Your Novel From The Middle, the midpoint poses as a “Mirror Moment” for your protagonist, where they face who it is they are vs. who it is they want to be. It’s the pivotal point where our hero begins to see their need for change.
For Tabitha, this instant is incredibly painful. She realizes that even a very noble cause does not justify the terrible thing she has done to her new friends.
I’m so looking forward to sharing her journey with you!
